The huntergreen program at Council House 2 (CH2) is up and running. Initially developed to meet the Melbourne City Council’s stringent requirements for the environmentally friendly CH2 building, Hunter Industrials has now brought this innovative program to the market. The huntergreen program promises to offer a solution to those organisations who wish to align their cleaning programs/systems with their environmental policy.

It is a matter of ethical importance and many proactive organisations are choosing to minimize their ‘greenhouse’ impact. huntergreen is developed to empower organisations and breathe life into their environmental policies in the often otherwise overlooked area of cleaning.

The huntergreen program is a comprehensive system providing the documentation, framework, training, and on going third party support that makes an environmentally friendly cleaning program work. Its not about extremes, it’s about finding a solution that actually works and will be supported by both cleaners and the principal employer.

The huntergreen program allows us to:

• Ensure supply of garbage bags are degradable (breaking down to non toxic, non harmful byproducts)
